SERVICESThrough her work with the <Design Ethically> project, Kat has given talks and workshops all around the world (as well as remotely, from her cozy apartment). From advising the US Federal Trade Commission and EU Parliament, to lecturing at universities such as Harvard and Duke, to presenting at tech conferences like SXSW and UX London, Kat has extensive speaking experience. She is forever grateful for her high school speech and debate coach ( yes, Kat was one of those nerds).
Kat likes to talk about design and tech ethics, deceptive and manipulative design patterns, designing for AI, and organizing in tech.
Kat cannot pay her rent with exposure, and thus does not speak for free. She will occasionally make very special exceptions for government groups and the like. Availability permitting, she can provide the following services.
